Psychological Therapy
More Human Approach
A human approach in therapy can be incredibly beneficial for clients, particularly because it prioritises genuine empathy, relatability, and a collaborative relationship—factors that are foundational to effective therapy. With 15 years of experience, I’ve seen firsthand how creating a safe, authentic space helps clients open up and engage more fully in their healing process. Rather than just focusing on techniques or protocols, I work to understand each client as an individual, respecting their unique life experiences, values, and challenges.
This approach often fosters a stronger therapeutic alliance, which research shows is one of the most crucial predictors of successful outcomes. By meeting clients where they are, and allowing them to feel truly seen and heard, I’m able to adapt treatment to fit their needs, promoting resilience and self-compassion. A more human approach also helps demystify the therapeutic process, making it accessible and encouraging clients to feel empowered in their journey.
